To increase your chances of getting admitted into AFIT, you need to score above the UTME and departmental cut-off marks for your chosen program. Here are some tips to help you achieve this:

  • Prepare well for the UTME and the AFIT screening exercise. Study the syllabus, past questions and answers, and practice tests. You can also enroll in a reputable tutorial center or online platform to get guidance and feedback.
  • Choose a program that matches your interest, passion, and ability. Do not apply for a program that you are not qualified for or that you do not like. This will help you to focus and perform better in the exams.
  • Apply early and follow the admission guidelines. Do not wait until the last minute to register and submit your application. Also, make sure you follow the instructions and requirements given by AFIT and JAMB. Avoid any mistake or omission that can disqualify you or delay your admission process.
  • Check your admission status regularly and accept your offer. Once you have taken the exams, keep checking the AFIT and JAMB portals for updates on your admission status. If you are offered admission, accept it as soon as possible and proceed with the necessary steps to secure your seat.
